About the Client:

Our client is a company specialising in managed IT and cyber security solutions. They focus on supporting businesses with reliable, secure technology services and are continuing to grow their client base through targeted business development.


Role Overview:

We are seeking a professional and proactive Business Development Virtual Assistant to support our client on a short term basis, with potential for long term collaboration. This role is ideal for a VA with a confident phone manner, excellent attention to detail and proven experience in client facing communication.


Interview dates and times are to be confirmed and candidates will be contacted directly to arrange a suitable time.


Role and Responsibilities:

  • Make outbound follow-up calls to existing and prospective business contacts
  • Use a pre-prepared script to guide conversations in a professional and engaging manner
  • Confirm and update essential business contact details, including names, job titles, email addresses and phone numbers
  • Pre-qualify leads based on defined criteria provided by the client
  • Accurately log call outcomes and update the client’s CRM or marketing database in a timely and organised manner 
  • Provide clear weekly progress updates to the client, including completed tasks, call outcomes and any relevant feedback 


Essential Skills and Requirements:

  • Confident and professional phone manner 
  • Excellent spoken and written English 
  • Proven experience in business development, telemarketing, lead generation or similar outreach roles 
  • Ability to follow a structured script while maintaining a natural, engaging tone 
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented, with strong administrative skills 
  • Competence in using CRMs, spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets) and data entry platforms


Desirable (Not Essential):

  • Familiarity with IT or cybersecurity services
  • Previous experience supporting UK or Irish business clients
  • Willingness to attend occasional client check-in or feedback calls

Tools & Systems Provided:

  • Zoiper Softphone: Required for outbound calls
  • Sales & Marketing Drive Access (client-provided) for Script and Call Tracker Excel Sheet
  • Outlook setup may be required (for email/calendar access) 


Working Hours: We are seeking a candidate to work 5 to 10 hours per week.


Location: This is a remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere in Ireland during business hours.
